Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By registering for or using WP AI Agent ("the Service"), operated by DEXTERN Ltd., you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

WP AI Agent provides an AI-powered WordPress site management plugin powered by Anthropic's Claude AI. The plugin operates on your WordPress installation and communicates with our backend at wplugin.ai to process your requests. You are responsible for the WordPress site on which the plugin is installed.

3. Accounts and license keys

Your license key is bound to a single WordPress domain. You may not use one license key across multiple domains. Sharing license keys is prohibited. You are responsible for keeping your license key secure. We may revoke a license key if we detect abuse.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Send illegal, harmful, or abusive content to the AI
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, quota enforcement, or authentication
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the backend API
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written permission
  • Use the Service in a way that violates Anthropic's usage policies

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms without notice.

5. Token quotas and billing

Each plan includes a monthly token quota that resets on the 1st of each calendar month. Unused tokens do not roll over. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. One-time token top-up packs do not expire and are consumed after your monthly quota is exhausted.

6. Refunds

We offer refunds within 7 days of a subscription charge if you have not used more than 10% of your monthly token quota in that billing period. One-time token top-up packs are non-refundable once tokens have been consumed. To request a refund, contact billing support.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time via the Stripe billing portal (accessible from the "Manage Subscription" link). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused days after cancellation.

8. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Downtime of the AI backend (wplugin.ai) or the Anthropic API may temporarily prevent the plugin from responding. We are not liable for damages resulting from service interruptions.

9. Limitation of liability

WP AI Agent executes actions on your WordPress site at your direction. You are responsible for reviewing and approving any significant changes. The undo/snapshot feature reduces risk but does not guarantee full reversibility of all actions. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DEXTERN Ltd. is not liable for data loss, site outages, or business damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount paid in the 30 days preceding any claim.

10. Intellectual property

The WP AI Agent WordPress plugin is released under the GPL-2.0-or-later licence. The backend service (wplugin.ai), its API, and all associated infrastructure are proprietary and owned by DEXTERN Ltd. The GPL licence does not extend to the backend service.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
